Job summary

Emcon Services Inc. is seeking a confident winter equipment operator for seasonal work in Smoky Lake, Alberta. The primary responsibility involves driving plow trucks during the winter season.

The successful candidate will also assist with various road maintenance tasks such as the installation and repair of road signs, guiderails, and more. Applicants must possess a valid AB Driver’s Licence and be available 24/7.

This is a union position, and candidates will undergo pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/ air).
• Class 1 preferred.
• 24/7 on call in winter season.

EMCON SERVICES INC., a progressive Road & Bridge Maintenance Contractor in BC, Alberta and Ontario, is looking for a confident winter equipment operator in Smoky Lake AB. These are seasonal union (AUPE) positions.

Our teams perform a large variety of road maintenance related tasks such as installing, repairing and maintaining signs, guiderails, fences, ditches, culverts, but the primary function for the winter season is driving plow trucks.

Qualifications include:

• Valid AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/ air)
• Class 1 preferred.
• 24/7 on call in winter season
