Job summary

EMCON SERVICES INC. is seeking a confident winter equipment operator for seasonal AUPE positions in several locations across BC, Alberta and Ontario. Responsibilities center on driving plow trucks and performing a variety of road maintenance tasks including installing and maintaining signs, guiderails, fences, ditches and culverts.

Qualifications include a valid AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/air) with Class 1 preferred and a requirement to be on-call 24/7 during the winter season.

Responsibilities

• Operate winter equipment, primarily plow trucks.
• Perform road maintenance tasks as needed (signs, guiderails, fences, ditches, culverts).
• Work in seasonal union AUPE positions across multiple locations.

EMCON SERVICES INC., a progressive Road & Bridge Maintenance Contractor in BC, Alberta and Ontario, is looking for a confident winter equipment operator in several locations. These are seasonal union (AUPE) positions. Our teams perform a large variety of road maintenance related tasks such as installing, repairing and maintaining signs, guiderails, fences, ditches, culverts, but the primary function for the winter season is driving plow trucks.

Qualifications include:

• Valid AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/ air)
• Class 1 preferred.
• 24/7 on call in winter season
