AECOM in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, is seeking a Civil Highway Designer to support OpenRoads-based roadway design for MTO projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, and documentation, ensuring compliance with TAC and MTO standards during all project phases.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to workflows, and help deliver on schedule and budget objectives, while advancing professional development in transportation engineering tools.

Formación

• Civil Engineering Technician/Technology Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience using Bentley InRoads or OpenRoads software.
• 4+ years of experience using AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver roadway designs for MTO highway infrastructure projects using OpenRoads from preliminary design through detailed design and construction support.
• Prepare roadway design deliverables including plans, profiles, cross-sections, geometric layouts, drainage designs, utility coordination drawings and associated technical documentation.
• Apply MTO standards, TAC guidelines to all project work.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery.
• Develop design quantities, cost estimates and contract documentation; provide technical support during tendering and construction.
