Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is seeking a full-time High School teacher for Chestermere High School on the Complexity team. The role requires a minimum of five years of classroom teaching and background in inclusive education, EAL support, or literacy/numeracy coaching, with a focus on Universal Design for Learning and MTSS.

The successful candidate will work with teachers and support staff to implement IPPs, develop behavior plans, and translate student needs into effective classroom strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Experience with Learning Supports or Inclusive Education, or certifications.
• Experience with English as an Additional Language learners (ESL).

Responsibilities

• Implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and MTSS to ensure accessible curriculum.
• Develop and support IPPs and behavior support plans.
• Lead and collaborate with teams to coach staff and build capacity in complex classrooms.
