Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is hiring Suited Retail Security Officers to provide a strong customer service-focused security presence in a luxury retail environment. This role emphasizes visibility, professionalism, and proactive reporting to help create a safe and welcoming space for customers and staff.

The position is based in Downtown Vancouver at a high-end store. Candidates must hold a BC Security Worker License and BST, be able to stand for long periods, and demonstrate excellent customer

• BST (Basic Security Training) completed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; strong customer service and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and act as a visual theft deterrent.
• Maintain a professional presence at store entrances/exits or high-loss areas.
• Identify and report risks, hazards, and safety concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Patrol designated areas as required.
• Document incidents, thefts, and safety concerns using TrackTik.
• Support store management and liaise with police when required.
• Protect persons and property through observation and reporting.

Important Details

• Standing Position: This is a fully standing position. Officers are expected to remain on their feet and attentive throughout the shift.
• Downtown Vancouver Location: The position is based at a high-end luxury retail store in Downtown Vancouver. There is no onsite parking available; the location is fully accessible by public transit.
• Personal Devices: Personal mobile phones and other personal electronic devices cannot be used while on the retail floor during the shift.
