Job summary

Sureway Construction Group Ltd. is looking for a Working Field Foreman/Dispatcher. Candidates must be Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technicians with Red Seal and possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, supervising technicians, and ensuring safety compliance.

The position offers a full-time permanent role with benefits including tool allowances and specialized training. The work location is in Edmonton, Alberta.

Qualifications

• Off Road HDM experience is required.
• Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. is required.

Responsibilities

Schedule

10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Shop 9175 - 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements

Pre-employment

• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment

Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician HET with Red Seal - Off Road or equivalent
• Must have between five (5) and ten (10) years' Journeyperson experience
• Off Road HDM experience is REQUIRED
• Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED
• Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial
• Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, and in a timely manner, resulting in proper function and availability.
• Perform preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment according to company standards.
• Oversee, supervise, and manage the day to day operations of our heavy equipment technicians in the field.
• Dispatching of 10-12 field heavy equipment technicians and welders to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
