Location: 250 Summerlea Rd., Brampton, with travel to other facilities 1–2 times per week

Position Summary:

The Help Desk Technical Analyst serves as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance related to computer systems, software, hardware, and IT services. This individual plays a vital role in maintaining technology performance and uptime in fast-paced operational environments, with a strong focus on support for warehousing and logistics systems. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven, technically proficient, and experienced in supporting wireless networks (RF), mobile devices, and warehouse technologies critical to logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users across the organization, including office staff and warehouse personnel, and collaborate with SMEs within the IT Team
  • Respond to inquiries and issues via phone, email, or ticketing system, ensuring prompt and courteous resolution.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and RF scanning equipment.
  • Support and maintain RF network infrastructure and associated warehouse hardware, including handheld scanners, mobile workstations, label printers, and wireless access points.
  • Provide remote and on-site support for mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for break/fix support, software issues, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Assist in supporting warehouse technology systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and label printing platforms.
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user software, applications, and devices.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding, including setup of hardware, user credentials, and application access.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts and outages, escalating when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to internal knowledge base articles for recurring issues and standard procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and process standardization within a logistics environment.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Prior experience working in a warehousing, logistics, or distribution center environment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required to drive to multiple facilities.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with warehouse technologies including RF scanners (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell), label printers, and mobile workstations.
  • Familiarity with SOTI MobiControl and Intune.
  • Understanding of WMS systems and technology workflows in warehousing and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Based in a mixed office and warehouse environment.
  • May require walking through and supporting users on warehouse floors.
  • Weekly travel to other facilities and occasional after-hours or weekend support required for urgent issues or system updates.
