Hell’s Kitchen at River Cree Resort & Casino in Canada is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests and guide them to their seats, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience and representing the Hell’s Kitchen brand.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in hospitality, strong communication and a positive attitude. Availability for late nights, weekends and holidays is required. Shuttle service from West Edmonton is provided; associates also receive competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• AGLC ProServe/Protect certification.

Reporting to the Hell’s Kitchen General Manager, the Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming and guiding them, setting the tone for their dining experience, and representing the Hell’s Kitchen brand. This role ensures guests feel welcome and informed from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for guests.
• Greeting guests, seat them, and provide information about specials or relevant details.
• Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of restaurant staff to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Assist servers and server assistants as needed (e.g., clear plates, setting tables).
• Work in other food and beverage outlets as directed by management.
• Follow all Health and Safety requirements and look out for the safety of yourself and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a related environment, is an asset.
• Experience with reservation systems or POS software would be beneficial.
• AGLC ProServe/Protect certification
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and positive attitude.

The schedule for this position requires an open availability and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays
