Job summary

Manulift, the Canadian leader in telescopic forklifts, seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician to diagnose and repair our machines. You will work on tasks from routine oil changes to complex hydraulic and electrical system repairs, with ongoing training and support from our team.

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will complete work orders, look up parts and manuals electronically, and ensure safety and quality in all service activities.

Qualifications

Must be licensed (421A, 310T, 310S).
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Process work orders and ensure accurate invoicing codes.
Lookup parts, manuals, and schematics electronically.
Order parts needed to complete repairs.
Conduct safety checks on equipment.
Perform recalls and service bulletins.
Communicate delays and challenges to the Shop Foreman.
Maintain organized service records and tidy workspace.
Collaborate with team on larger repairs.
