Job summary

MasonLift Ltd. is seeking an experienced Shop Technician – Heavy Equipment in Delta, BC. You will diagnose problems, repair and perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including forklifts and yard tractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience and strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Training is provided and a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• College diploma or trade certification or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience as auto, forklift, heavy equipment or truck and coach mechanic.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of battery and internal combustion powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance at prescribed intervals.
• Use electronic manuals, digital voltage meters, and diagnostic software.
• Diagnose using electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Verify work and return the truck to the customer clean and operational.
• Maintain a clean work area and manage administrative duties.
