As a heavy machinery operator in the Civil & Infrastructure team at the Pomerleau, you will work closely with all workers to ensure the coordination and execution of work in a safe manner. Working on large‑scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars, you will contribute to the productivity and efficiency of our sites.

What You Will Do

• Operate heavy machinery to perform finishing and maintenance work on road, highway or infrastructure construction sites;
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards;
• Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting working climate, collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and other shifts on the site;
• Take care and maintain the equipment;
• Perform all other related tasks related to operations.

This Role Is Made For You If You Have

• A valid CCQ heavy machinery operator card
• A valid ASP Construction card and WHMIS 2015
• A DEP construction equipment operator or equivalent experience
• A valid driving license – Class 5
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
