Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team here in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 14:30 PM. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials safely and efficiently throughout the yard.

What you’re responsible for:
  • Safely operating a crane to load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution
  • Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel in the yard
  • Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance
  • You may be asked to operate the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader
Qualifications
  • You have a valid Crane Operator certification
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
  • You have strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of materials
  • You have a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
  • You have familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
