Job summary

Todd Brothers Contracting Limited is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet, ensuring peak performance and safety. You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, document repairs, and collaborate with a team to troubleshoot complex issues across Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with heavy-duty vehicle systems including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Reliable and safety conscious.
  • Experience in the Heavy Civil Industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License - AZ/DZ and asset.

  • Maintain an organized workspace.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team of mechanics, field members and management to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance.
  • Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they elevate.
