Todd Brothers Contracting Limited is seeking a qualified Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our heavy-duty fleet in Ontario. You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and documentation while adhering to safety standards and working collaboratively with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic.
• Possession of a valid 310T Mechanic License is an asset.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections, and provide detailed reports as needed.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance.
• Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escape.
