Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician in London, ON. You will travel to customer sites in a Toromont service truck to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy Caterpillar equipment, while upholding safety and integrity.

The role requires a valid Technician License and a minimum of 3 years' experience with heavy equipment, plus a valid driver's license (DZ preferred). Expect day-to-day field service across Eastern Canada with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Valid Technician License as per provincial standards.
• Minimum 3 years of repair and service experience on heavy equipment, in shop or field.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar CAT systems such as ET and SIS is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s Licence required (DZ preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and skilled troubleshooting.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the field or shop.
• Maintain high safety standards and quality workmanship during on-site service visits.
• Communicate clearly with customers and maintain strong relationships on site.
