Job summary

Toromont Cat in London, ON is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to service Caterpillar equipment in our shop. You will diagnose, repair and service machinery, and prepare service reports for customers while upholding safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of working experience in repair and maintenance of heavy engine equipment.
• 421A Red Seal license in heavy equipment (310T with 3+ years on heavy construction or mining equipment also considered).

• Repair and service Caterpillar and heavy equipment within established standards.
• Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner.

Toromont Cat is looking for Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our shop in London, ON! As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for servicing a particular line of Caterpillar equipment and components in our shop. Your day will include planning, trouble shooting and repairing, as well as, preparing necessary service reports for customers. We are looking for people who are interested in diverse product range. Must-haves for this role:

• Post Secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics or a related mechanical field
• Minimum 3+ years of working experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy engine equipment
• 421A Red Seal license in heavy equipment (310T with 3 years or more working on heavy construction or mining equipment also considered)
