Job summary

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic with 3+ years of heavy-duty truck experience to repair trucks and trailers to customer specifications. The role requires owning or willingness to acquire the necessary tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy parts.

Responsibilities

  • Repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and all models of trailers to customer specifications.
  • Perform basic welding functions.
  • Inform customer/manager of completion times and costs.
  • Monitor profitability and minimize warranty re-work.
  • Submit work orders for invoicing and maintain parts inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow EH&S standards.

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a skilled 3+ yearDiesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks who will be responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and all models of trailers to specific customer and industry-standard specifications.

  • Perform basic welding functions
  • Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
  • Monitor the profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; minimize warranty claims and re-work
  • Submit work orders for invoicing
  • Maintain inventory and supplies
  • Prepare list of required replacement parts
  • Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards

Minimum of three years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
