OCL Group Inc. in Fort McMurray is seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright to join our field crews. You will perform critical rebuilds and daily maintenance on shovel and mine equipment, with night-shift opportunities (7/7 or 14/14).

This role requires Red Seal certification, JM Off Road or Millwright ticket, and 3–5 years of related experience. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with Inter-provincial Red Seal.
• JM Off Road or Millwright Ticket is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience; shovel/mining equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract, safety training a must.

Aufgaben

• Component change outs and undercarriage change outs on mining equipment.
• Shovel splits, track frame change outs, bucket changes and general repair.
• Maintenance and lubrication checks; teamwork with crew and client.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Component change outs
• Undercarriage change outs
• Shovel splits
• Track frame change outs
• Bucket change outs
• General repair
• Maintenance and lube checks
• Work collaboratively and professionally with the crew and the client

What You Bring

• Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with an Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification
• Must have a JM Off Road or Millwright Ticket
• A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
• Preference will be given to individuals with previous shovel and mine equipment experience
• Must be ok with working night shifts
• Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Aerial Work Platform (AWP) training an asset
• Must successfully complete a site pre-access drug and alcohol test and various client orientations
• CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO plus various other site specific training
• Confined Space, AWP, Fall Protection are required
• Crane and Rigging experience and training is an asset
• H2S Awareness is required
• WHMIS 2015 is required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Great attitude towards health and safety
• Strong and independent work ethic
• Must be legally eligible to work Canada
