OCL Group Inc. is seeking a Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. If you have a Red Seal and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

The role covers component and undercarriage change outs, shovel splits, track frame and bucket work, plus general repair and lube checks. Night shifts are possible, and you must be able to work with mine equipment.

Formación

• Must be Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with an Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification
• Must have a JM Off Road or Millwright Ticket
• A minimum of 3–5 years of related experience
• Preference for shovel and mine equipment experience
• Must be ok with working night shifts
• Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Aerial Work Platform (AWP) training an asset
• Must pass a site pre-access drug and alcohol test
• CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO plus various other site specific training
• Confined Space training, AWP and Fall Protection are required
• Crane and Rigging experience and training is an asset
• H2S Awareness is required
• WHMIS 2015 is required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Great attitude towards health and safety
• Strong and independent work ethic
• Must be legally eligible to work Canada
