Job summary

OCL Group Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators to support civil projects for CNRL Horizon in Fort McMurray. Camp and flights from Calgary/Edmonton provided. Experience with Rock Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, Packers preferred. CLAC hourly wage depending on experience.

Responsibilities include safe operation of heavy equipment, grading, trenching, site inspections, and coordinating with ground crews to meet tolerances. Pre-employment drug and alcohol test required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience (civil earthworks preferred).
• Proven experience as a finish grade operator with the ability to achieve precise tolerances.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, compaction, and earthmoving practices.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, grade stakes, and GPS systems (asset).
• Safety certifications: CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance 201.
• Must be able to work legally in Canada.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.

• Work collaboratively with ground crews and other operators to ensure safe and productive site operations.
• Assist with general labour or other equipment operation when required.
• Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practiced.

About The Role

We are currently seeking Equipment Operators to support civil projects for CNRL Horizon. Camp and flights from either Calgary and/or Edmonton provided.

We are looking for experienced operators for the following pieces of equipment:

• Rock Trucks
• Excavators
• Dozers
• Packers

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, grade stakes, and GPS systems (asset)
• Safety certifications: CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance 201
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and ability to pass pre-employment requirements
• Must be able to work legally in Canada
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
