GardaWorld Canada is seeking a Healthcare Unit Security Guard to monitor systems and control access within a healthcare setting. You will document events, respond to incidents, and help prevent threats, collaborating with law enforcement when needed.

This permanent role offers Saturday-Sunday shifts (07:30–15:30), GardaWorld Academy training, uniform provided, and clear paths for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Remain calm and professional in emergencies.
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
• Able to patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Use of Force training is an asset.
• First Aid Training is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

Additional Site Information

• Paid parking available on-site

• Site Training includes 32 hours of training with cross-training across all shifts. Flexiable to train during the weekdays.
