GardaWorld is seeking a Healthcare Facility Security Guard to patrol hospital environments, verify access, and de-escalate situations as needed. The role emphasizes vigilance, rapid threat assessment, and clear communication with staff and visitors.

The position is a permanent weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 20:00–08:00). Training is provided through GardaWorld Academy, with opportunities for career growth and uniform supplied at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk during entire shift.
• Customer service orientation.
• Experience in security is an asset.
• First aid certification an asset or willingness to obtain.
• Use of force training an asset or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents in a timely manner.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
