GardaWorld is hiring a Health Complex Security Guard in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role involves patrolling hospital environments, assessing risks, de-escalating situations, and ensuring access control with alert response.

You will support security operations across shifts within a health complex in Canada’s Manitoba region. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.81 plus $560 for meals and travel, with lodging and meals provided for guards travelling from Winnipeg.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Respond to code calls.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Health Complex Security Guard in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- escalare situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment
