Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Response Health Centre Security Guard in Winnipeg, MB. You will provide professional security services, screen patients with wand devices, and maintain safety for staff, patients, and visitors in a high-sensitivity environment.

Ideal candidates hold Manitoba security licensure, Use of Force certification, and First Aid certification. Excellent communication and composure under pressure are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Use of Force certification (Asset).
• Hold a Manitoba valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate site-provided metal detecting wand to screen patients entering the facility
• Monitor and assess potential security risks and respond in accordance with site protocols
• Maintain accurate records of screenings and report incidents or concerns
• Provide calm, respectful, and professional interactions with patients in high-stress situations
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
