Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Supervisor at Scarborough Health Network in Toronto. You will supervise security operations, coordinate shifts, and ensure high standards of safety and service across hospital sites.

The role requires leadership, reporting, and strong communication skills. Ideal candidates bring healthcare security experience, relevant certifications, and a commitment to protecting patients and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years healthcare security experience in a team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols and respond to incidents on assigned shifts.
• Write reports and investigate routine incidents; respond to coded emergencies quickly.
• Display excellent customer service and assist individuals under stress or needing medical attention.
• Physically fit to stand and walk for long periods; this is a high-caliber position.
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching and training to security staff.
• Ensure compliance with Paladin Security and hospital security policies.
• Plan and implement shift work schedules and ensure completion of daily activities.
• Motivate staff and issue commendations; document disciplinary actions and relay to head office.
• Perform security audits; document and investigate incidents and complaints.
• Communicate concerns to the Client Service Manager.
