Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor – Healthcare in Toronto, ON. The role leads a security team within a highly regulated healthcare environment, ensuring compliance and superior client service.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, coaching, and after-hours leadership to safeguard patients, staff, and assets. A valid Ontario Security Guard License and Driver’s License are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience leading security or operational teams within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED required (post-secondary education preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Working knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and incident reporting platforms
• Standard First Aid (or willingness to obtain; reimbursement provided)

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, site-specific protocols, and Allied Universal policies and standards
• Investigate incidents and ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting
• Coaching and mentoring team members
• Provide leadership during emergency situations and after-hours operational issues as required
• Provide shift deployment assignments
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement
