Job summary

The Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC) invites applications for a Recruitment Assistant within Health Match BC, Physician Recruitment. You will be the first point of contact for candidates and partners, handling emails and calls with a focus on excellent service.

Qualifications

• Completion of grade twelve, supplemented by human resources or business training and three years’ recent, related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer service experience across diverse groups.
• Ability to prioritize work to maximize departmental efficiency.
• Ability to apply discretion with confidential documentation.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow processes and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; type at 50 wpm with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day work of a Recruitment Consultant.
• Maintain the Health Match BC database and filing systems.
• Assist in collecting and organizing licensing and immigration paperwork.
• Track candidates’ progress through the recruitment lifecycle.
• Respond to general inquiries from stakeholders and applicants.
