Job summary

OntarioMD is seeking an Integration Systems Analyst to join the Application Support Team on a permanent full-time, hybrid basis. The ISA will maintain and support OntarioMD products, onboarding hospitals and clinics, and overseeing messaging systems and related infrastructure.

Reporting to the Manager, Application Support, the ISA will troubleshoot HL7, XML, and FHIR-related issues, work with Windows Server, MS-SQL, Azure, and VMware, and assist with product deployments and documentation.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
2 years Healthcare IT experience with HIS/RIS/EMR is an asset.
Strong working knowledge of HL7 and XML; FHIR is an asset.
Hands-on experience with integration tools and messaging protocols (e.g., MLLP).
Excellent client-facing skills and ability to guide physicians/stakeholders while meeting SLAs.
Proven documentation and communication skills; detail-oriented.
Solid troubleshooting across networks, OS, and applications.
Experience with Windows Server, MS-SQL, TCP/IP, sFTP, Azure (IaaS/PaaS), VMware.
SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 familiarity is an asset.
PowerShell scripting experience; Kusto Query Language is an asset.

Responsibilities

Support OntarioMD products and services within the Application Support Team.
Troubleshoot HL7, XML, and messaging issues and HRM applications.
Provide technical support for integration/messaging engines and related infrastructure.
Collaborate with stakeholders to close service requests and communicate system status.
Assist in deploying product code releases and updates.
Develop and maintain documentation and user guides.
Create and monitor operational reports and system performance metrics.
Maintain Windows servers and Azure/VMware hosting environments.
Monitor incident trends and participate in on-call rotation.
