Job summary

Ontario Health seeks a senior health data integration specialist to lead electronic health data exchanges using HL7 v2.x, v3, and FHIR within the health care sector. You will drive implementation with integration engines and collaborate with HIS, EMR, and LIS teams.

Required: 7+ years delivering health data integration projects; 5+ years applying HL7 tooling (Caristix, XMLSpy, 7Edit, Postman); up to 5 days onsite per hiring manager discretion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in health care sector workflows and source system technologies (HIS, EMR, LIS) with hands-on work with Integration Engines.
• 7+ years delivering electronic health data integration projects using HL7 v2.x (mandatory) and v3; practical experience with FHIR.
• 5+ years experience applying HL7 health standard tooling for v2.x, v3, and FHIR (Caristix, XMLSpy, 7Edit, Postman).

Responsibilities

• Lead health data integration projects across HIS/EMR/LIS environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and data exchange standards.
• Ensure compliance with HL7/FHIR messaging and security requirements.
