Position Overview
This is a high-impact role focused on driving growth and expansion within the healthcare vertical across North America. You will lead marketing and outreach efforts for WaitWell in the medical sector, identifying opportunities for strategic expansion, developing campaigns that generate qualified leads, and collaborating across teams to influence both revenue and product strategy. This role blends field marketing, ABM, content strategy, product feedback loops, and pipeline accountability.
Healthcare Market Growth:• Build and execute marketing strategies that expand WaitWell’s presence in urgent care, diagnostic labs, imaging clinics, and telemedicine.
• Identify and prioritize healthcare subsegments where WaitWell has a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with Sales to define target account lists and develop ABM programs that drive qualified pipeline.
• Support the refinement of messaging for healthcare personas and buying groups.
Key Responsibilities:• Execute healthcare-specific Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and lead generation campaigns using digital and field tactics.
• Plan and manage WaitWell’s presence at industry events (e.g., HIMSS, urgent care expos) including logistics, booth experience, lead capture, and follow-up strategy.
• Organize and host webinars, roundtables, and community-building experiences for healthcare buyers.
• Monitor trends in healthcare service delivery and queue management to support messaging and product development.
• Deliver vertical-specific insights to Product Management, ensuring alignment between market needs and product roadmap.
• Conduct research into competitors, emerging technologies, and regulatory shifts within healthcare.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine personas, positioning, and pricing for medical verticals.
• Report on marketing program performance including MQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion rates and event ROI.
Required Skills and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, health administration, or business.
• 4+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise tech.
• Experience planning and executing ABM campaigns, webinars, and event marketing.
• Strong knowledge of North American healthcare system workflows and challenges.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Clay, Make, Instantly and G2).
• Strong content and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing marketing funnel performance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit.

Location:This is a hybrid position based in Calgary. WaitWell places a high value on teamwork, collaboration, and culture. A minimum of three days a week will be required at our Calgary office with the option to work remotely for the other two days. Extensive travel across North America (up to 20%) will be required for the role.
