Our client, a Multi-Specialty Medical Clinic in Surrey, BC, is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership in a physician-led, partnership environment. This senior role is responsible for financial performance, organizational growth, and HR oversight, partnering with physician owners to guide the organization's continued success.

The Executive Director will lead across teams and service lines, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and drive growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience as an Executive Director/COO or Director of Operations in healthcare or large service-based org.
• Ability to lead across multiple teams and physicians in a high-volume environment.
• Proven track record managing multi-million dollar budgets and financial forecasting.
• Experience improving clinic flow, access, staffing models, and efficiency.
• History of driving growth initiatives, expansions or major organizational change.
• Experience in physician-led/partnership environments with stakeholder management.
• Oversight of HR and people strategy with results.
• Executive presence with decisive, structured leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational partner to physician owners with full accountability for performance, people, and growth.
• Provide leadership across teams, physicians, and service lines in a complex clinical setting.
• Oversee multi-million dollar budgets with disciplined cost control, revenue optimization and forecasting.
• Drive improvements in clinic flow, patient access, staffing models, and overall efficiency through systems-based leadership.
• Design and execute strategic growth initiatives, expansions, and major organizational change.
• Manage relationships across physicians and partners, resolving conflicts and maintaining alignment.
• Provide strategic oversight of HR, including workforce planning, recruitment and retention strategies.
• Support and develop managers, providing guidance rather than day-to-day HR administration.
• Act as liaison between physicians, staff and leadership to resolve organizational issues.
• Maintain high accountability while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
