Inizio Engage is seeking a Healthcare Communicator for a Canada Remote role. The candidate will represent a top biotechnology client, handling Medical Information Requests and product-related inquiries via phone and email.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
• Proficiency with a computer keyboard and mouse.
• Pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to join frequent meetings and calls without disruption
• Proficiency with Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent quality standards for client programs and adhere to scripts.
• Accurately collect information and capture in program databases.
• Document and triage Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in compliance with guidelines.
• Complete literature fulfillment to customers.
• Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills.
• Assist callers in understanding medical terminology when needed.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA rules.

Healthcare Communicator, Canada Remote

Inizio Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading Biotechnology company, across Commercial, Patient Solutions and Medical Affairs businesses. Representing clients on a variety of projects via inbound/outbound telecommunication. This is your opportunity to join Inizio Engage and represent a top biotechnology company!

Key Objectives

• Maintain excellent quality standards for all client programs; adhere to program scripts and guidelines. Accurately collect information required by individual programs and correctly capture in specific program databases.
• Completely and accurately document and/or triage all Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in compliance with Inizio, Client and Federal guidelines and regulations, for all contact channel types, including but not limited to phone and email.
• Complete literature fulfillment to customers
• Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills.
• Converse with callers in an empathetic manner and facilitate the callers in their ability to understand medical terminology, as needed.
• Possess effective organizational skills, including working with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adhere to all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Display flexibility within department to maximize utilization, including performing administrative and non-telecommunication duties as needed.
• Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Job Holder Specification

• High School Diploma required
