YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Health and Safety Training Supervisor, you will be part of the Health and Safety Department. As a support to the Health & Safety team, the Health & Safety Training Administrator is a broad role that is busy and requires dedicated focus with a high volume workload (data) and meeting key deadlines for reporting. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Prepare and refine essential reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Prepare scorecard to track progress and compliance
  • Participate in meetings, accurately document discussions, and submit minutes
  • Manage SAP purchase requisitions for the Health & Safety department, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Administrator for various Health & Safety initiatives - Minesweeper program, Underground Mining School, Skillmine, etc.
  • Register all training modules with Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD), acquire transcripts from MAESD

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • High School Diploma required; Post-secondary course in Administration or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar administrative role, demonstrating relevant skills and competencies
  • Exceptional ability to organize and prioritize multiple, competing demands effectively
  • Proven team player with a strong focus on achieving deliverable outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and act as a custodian of sensitive information
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 4 days of work, followed by 3 days off or 5 days of work, followed by 2 days off at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON
