Job description

We're looking for a Health & Safety Manager who is eager to get into the field and lead in creating a positive safety culture.

You will have strong technical OH&S knowledge & education. Most importantly, you will be able to transfer what you know into the minds of operational staff, influencing the engagement in their work, the decisions they make, and create a values-based approach to safety.

This position reports to the VP Operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring safe operations in the transportation and logistics services to the oilfield, mainly trucking. You'll stand out if you have previous experience working with DOT, AMTA, and other regulators. Other backgrounds would be considered if you can demonstrate your ability to lead and create a positive approach to working safely.

You'll have :

• an OH&S Diploma or equivalent and evidence of being on a career path in OH&S,
• previously supported an organization in obtaining and maintaining compliance with COR, Avetta, ISN, AMTA, etc.,
• a track record of influencing a workforce to create a positive safety culture.
