Job summary

eClassify Canada Classified Directory in Toronto is seeking a full-time trainer to deliver health and safety programs across the GTA and client locations. You will prepare materials, teach, assess, and update curricula while coordinating with client outreach.

The role requires at least 3 years in adult education, certifications for curriculum delivery, strong communication, ability to supervise up to 20 participants, and a valid driver’s license for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the field is required.
• Experience as an adult educator is required.
• Must have certifications prior to delivering the same curriculum.
• Knowledge of health and safety is required due to the nature of the training.
• Experience managing large groups, with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to supervise up to 20 people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses.
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress.
• Prepare reports.
• Conduct course and program evaluation or review.
• Deliver lectures and presentations.
• Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies.
• Prepare and deliver a broad range of health and safety training programs.
• Maintain training equipment and inventory materials.
• Develop training curriculum and update course materials.
• Support administrative function and client outreach.
• May drive between clients’ locations.
