We are seeking a Term Instructor to join our Health Administration and Technology team at our downtown campus. This unique role combines curriculum development with teaching and is ideal for someone with expertise in health information management and a passion for preparing learners for rewarding careers in healthcare administration. A key responsibility of this position is to provide subject matter expertise in the development of health information management curriculum. Working collaboratively with faculty and academic leaders, you will design and enhance courses that reflect current industry practices, accreditation requirements, and institutional priorities while creating engaging, learner-centred educational experiences.
In addition to curriculum development, you will teach in our Medical Office Assistant (MOA) and Hospital Unit Clerk (HUC) programs. These programs prepare learners with the administrative, communication, digital health, and health information management skills required to work in primary care, community health, and acute care settings.
As a NorQuest instructor, you will facilitate learning in a variety of delivery formats using innovative teaching strategies and technology to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You will inspire learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in today's evolving healthcare environment. Strong organizational and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to learner success are essential, along with a passion for providing meaningful feedback that supports student growth in a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

We have one full-time, term instructor position available at our downtown campus from August 2026 – April 2027 with the possibility of extension. Instructors will need to teach a variety of courses in the Medical Office Assistant and Hospital Unit Clerk programs. Instructors must be available to teach classes Monday to Friday, during the day, at our downtown campus as well as online.
