NorQuest College is seeking a full-time Community Connections Indigenous Advisor to support LINC students’ settlement and engagement with Indigenous communities. You will collaborate with Elders, partners, and instructors to create welcoming learning environments and meaningful community activities.

At NorQuest College, the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program fulfills the “we’ll meet you where you’re at” commitment to newcomer students by offering a wide variety of language/settlement/essential skills/Indigenous programming, scheduling, and delivery modes as well as comprehensive student support options that meet the varied needs of our diverse newcomer student population, with the ultimate goal of helping them build social capital, and empower them to become self-sufficient, independent, and active members of the community and labour market. If you have demonstrable expertise, formal qualifications, a passion for supporting the newcomer students’ settlement process, experience and understanding in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), anti‑racism and anti‑oppressive practices, and creating vibrant and welcoming educational environments.
AUPE Band Level 7 | Advisor I | $2,205 - $2,864 bi‑weekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full time, term position until March 31, 2027 with the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE).
