This position reports to the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Manager in the Faculty of Health Studies (FHS). The WIL Administrator arranges and coordinates practicum placements for students in a variety of programs across the FHS. This position works closely with program areas, students, clinical/practicum sites, and the WIL team to ensure successful student placement. The position involves developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, utilizing technology, coordinating, and the acquisition of student clinical and practicum placements, as well as maintaining communication and relationship with facility managers and stakeholder placement management. You will also provide excellent customer service to students, program areas, practicum sites and collaborate with other areas where the role’s expertise is required.
The WIL Administrator works independently and collaboratively to execute cyclical operational and coordination activities aligned to FHS programs, as well as, WIL external stakeholders’ schedules, and is delegated additional tasks that support key functions in the WIL area needed for successful student placement. Other related administrative duties will include utilizing a variety of software and information systems, extensive use of verbal, written, and electronic communication records management, and support to other administrative positions as needed.
The WIL Administrator will also support the review and improvement of ongoing processes. This role brings a high level of human services and business acumen to the area, providing support to functions such as: WIL business planning, research on WIL placement trends among the community and institutional partners, building rapport, and developing relations with internal and external stakeholders.

SALARY: $49,129 - $63,854 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
