Job summary

SE Health is seeking a training-focused professional to supervise and conduct training on related medical records and admin processes in Barrie. You will support new hires and students, help develop new procedures, and review data for compliance KPIs while safeguarding confidentiality.

The role requires onsite availability, strong data management skills, and customer-service oriented problem solving in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be available Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm onsite in the Barrie office.
  • Knowledge of computer literacy and data management.
  • Intermediate reading comprehension and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and problem solving.
  • Adaptability and ability to meet tight deadlines; work independently and multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training on related business processes to medical record or admin team.
  • Participate in developing new processes and procedures for medical records advancements.
  • Performs quality checks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information.
  • Oversees the management and maintenance of all medical records.
  • Review and verify data with precision with respect to compliance KPIs.
  • Manage requests for information (ROI) and ensure privacy standards.
  • Verify and review forms and documents for errors; request follow-up information as needed.
  • Track chart retrieval, release, or loss and information requests for annual privacy reporting.
  • Keeps accurate records of new hires and supports orientation in the office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Acts as office point of contact for role-specific orientation related to medical records workflows.

  • Participate in the development of new processes and proceduresas needed such as focus/working groups focused on medical records process advancements
  • Performs quality checks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information.

  • Manage request for information (ROI) and ensure compliance withMedicalRecord Releaseprivacy standards.

  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed correctly, thoroughly, and in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.
  • Act as the office point of contact for role-specific orientation related to medical records, chart workflows, documentation standards, and administrative processes. Overseeing supplies
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be available Monday- Friday 830am-430pm working onsite in the Barrie office
  • Knowledge of computer literacy and data management
  • Intermediate reading comprehension and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and problem solving
  • Adaptability and the ability to deal with tight deadlines
  • An ability to work independently
  • An ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with competing priorities
  • Good personal organizational skills
  • Courses in medical administration or health care training are preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, community care, or regulated service environment is preferred
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel are preferred
