GardaWorld in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a Corporate Building Security Guard to engage with visitors, manage access, monitor CCTV, and patrol the premises ensuring order and safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

• Be able to work evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, greet visitors, verify identity.
• Control access at entryways and exits with available equipment.
• Monitor CCTV systems.
• Conduct external patrols regularly to maintain order and presence.
• Coordinate maintenance for lighting, heating, and other issues.
• Perform interior patrols according to schedule.
• Deter criminal activity and follow security procedures.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or breaches.
• Enforce site regulations and local by-laws.

Responsibilities for Corporate Building Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
• CCTV Monitoring
• Performing External Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Contact maintenance for any lighting, heating and other problems.
• Conduct interior patrol of the building according to the schedule.
