Job summary

CBI Home Health in Edmonton is hiring a Pediatric Health Care Aide for overnight shifts (Sat-Wed, 22:00–08:00). You will provide personal care to clients in their homes and lodges, help them stay safe and independent, and support mobility and light exercises.

You must hold an Active CLHA permit, pass a vulnerable-sector check, and have pediatric experience. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Active Practice Permit in good standing with the CLHA.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within last 6 months).
• Proof of a negative TB test.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Commitment to overnight shifts: Saturday to Wednesday 22:00–08:00.
• Pediatric experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; other languages a bonus.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home and lodges, helping them to be safe and independent.
• Assist clients to mobilize and perform light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes in condition to the Manager/Supervisor.
• May perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What You Will Do

As a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in our congregate settings, as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will provide personal care to clients in their home in the lodges, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises. You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor. You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• An Active Practice Permit in good standing with the CLHA
