CBI Home Health is hiring Health Care Aides in Lethbridge to support clients at home and in the community. We are a leading provider of specialized community services, home and integrated care, operating across Canada.

Qualifications

• Active CLHA license in good standing.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector in last 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test within lifetime.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong English communication; other languages a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home to support safety and independence.
• Assist with mobility and light exercises as directed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• May perform light housekeeping per care plans.

What you will do:

As a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in our community settings, as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will provide personal care to clients in their home, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises. You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor. You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What you will need to be successful:

• Active License and in good standing with the CLHA
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
• Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Commitment to work every other weekend
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)

Monday to Friday + Every other Weekend 6:00am-1:00pm

Monday to Friday + Every other Weekend 4:00pm-10:00pm

*must be able to commit to entire schedule*
