Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide personal care and support to residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. You’ll collaborate with the team to deliver compassionate service and maintain a welcoming living environment.

The role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting meals and hygiene, and following care plans while upholding high standards of safety and respect for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.
• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred.
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs.
• Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well.

• Administer medications and follow individual care plans.
• Keep resident areas clean and safe, and follow all health and safety protocols.

The Opportunity

As a Guest Attendant at Chartwell, you’ll provide personal care, assistance, and support to our residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
