Job summary

Wright Canada Holdings, Ltd. seeks a Health and Safety Coordinator in Prince George, BC. This full-time role focuses on promoting a safe work environment, coaching staff on the OHS program, and coordinating safety training across operations.

The successful candidate will lead incident investigations, contribute to site preparedness plans, and support continuous safety improvements while traveling to various sites as required.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in safety/occupational health.
  • Strong knowledge of safety legislation in BC and Alberta.
  • Formal training in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • NCSO certification preferred.
  • Experience with return-to-work and disability management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in promoting a safe work environment and reinforce safety policies.
  • Provide daily support, guidance, and coaching to employees and supervisors on OHS program.
  • Deliver safety orientations and coordinate training sessions for staff.
  • Support development and maintenance of Site Preparedness and Emergency Response Plans.
  • Participate in incident review and coordinate investigations to determine root causes.
