Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking a Head Technician, Repair Shop to lead a team of Repair Technicians and oversee daily operations. You will ensure safe, high-quality tuning and maintenance of our rental fleet while coordinating with department leadership.
The role requires hands-on expertise in ski/snowboard repair, strong leadership and coaching abilities, and a focus on guest satisfaction. This position is full-time and on-site at Blue Mountain Resort.
Hourly Rate: $23.55/hour
Full-time Hours: 4-5 shift a week
The Head Technician, Repair Shop oversees the daily operations of the Repair Shop while leading a team of Repair Technicians responsible for servicing and maintaining rental equipment. This role ensures the rental fleet is maintained to the highest standards of safety, performance, and presentation while supporting exceptional guest experiences. Working closely with the Assistant Manager, the Head Technician provides day-to-day leadership, employee coaching, inventory oversight, and operational support to ensure the efficient operation of the Repair Shop. The Head Technician will be the subject expert when it comes to the Montana Tuning Robot, as well as other equipment used in the repair shop. Will oversee it’s daily functions, maintenance schedule and correspondence with Montana and Wintersteigher team/ representatives at the direction of department leadership.
