Job summary

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a senior planning and estimating leader to drive pre-construction planning for wind, solar and storage projects.

You will oversee cost estimation, risk management, and cross-functional governance while guiding a team of estimators and strategic planners. You will collaborate with Development, Engineering, Procurement and Finance to optimize project outcomes, mentor staff, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in wind and/or solar development or construction in US/Canada.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in storage projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning from development to execution readiness.
• Create governance tools: execution plans, risk matrices, cost control systems.
• Develop risk registries and apply contingencies to estimates.
• Facilitate handovers between Development, Construction and Operations, guiding planning teams.
• Mentor estimators and strategic planners; foster cross-functional collaboration.
