Job summary

BYD Canada is seeking an IT Manager to lead information technology operations across the organization, ensuring availability, security, reliability, and continuous improvement of systems and services. You will partner with local and global stakeholders to implement scalable technology solutions that support growth and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional IT experience with leadership exposure.
• 3+ years in IT management or leadership roles.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, vendors, and projects.
• Experience in multinational settings and technology-driven industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the local IT strategy aligned with BYD Canada's objectives and global policies.
• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring availability and performance of systems and services.
• Establish priorities, roadmaps, and improvement initiatives based on business needs.
• Provide technology guidance to senior management to enable growth and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, and partners.
