Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Hospitality Director in Toronto for strategic leadership in conferences centers, premium dining, and concierge services. You will build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, drive program planning, and oversee large-scale events to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in event planning, hospitality, premium dining, or a related field.
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience leading large-scale hospitality operations and high-profile events in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to align with hospitality goals.
• Lead strategic planning for conferences centre, premium dining experiences, and concierge services.
• Develop scalable processes, forecasting tools, workback schedules, and performance metrics.
• Evaluate departmental structure, staffing, and workflows to meet changing needs.
• Partner with department heads to ensure collaboration across hospitality functions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest experiences and service delivery via innovation.
• Stay informed on industry trends to support program development.
• Oversee planning and execution of large-scale events and premium dining operations.
• Ensure service delivery excellence across events, dining, and concierge.
• Lead event logistics, bookings, and coordination for seamless experiences.
• Use EMS, Social Tables, and similar platforms for planning and communication.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, and client service teams to maintain quality.
• Gather and analyze guest feedback to improve service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, dietary, allergen, and hospitality regulations.
