Job summary

Compass-Group is seeking a Hospitality Director in Toronto, Ontario to lead strategic hospitality initiatives, events and client relationships. This role drives planning for conferences, premium dining, and concierge services while managing staffing and workflows to scale operations.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of leadership in events/hospitality, a related degree, and hands-on experience with EMS/Social Tables. You will ensure top-tier service and regulatory compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in event planning, hospitality or related field.
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale hospitality operations and high-profile events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead planning for conferences centre, premium dining experiences, and concierge services.
• Develop scalable processes, forecasting tools, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Oversee staffing, workflows and departmental structure to meet client needs.
• Oversee planning and execution of large-scale events and hospitality programs.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery across events, dining, and concierge operations.
• Use EMS, Social Tables and similar platforms to support planning and execution.
• Analyze guest and client feedback to improve service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and hospitality regulations.
