Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, QC, seeks a Head of Quality and Technical Support to ensure product and process quality while guiding method planning and supporting assembly and testing operations across four Canadian engine centers. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, with broad leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Management with 7–10+ years of experience.
• Experience leading teams and mobilizing talent across functions.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality and technical professionals supporting operations at Canadian engine centers.
• Drive deployment of strategic quality projects (e.g., MES replacement; new inspection/assembly technologies).
• Strengthen quality culture through projects and initiatives engaging all employees.
• Oversee methods planning and integration of design changes into assembly work instructions; deploy tech projects for continuous improvement.
• Support Assembly and Test Technical Support (ATTS) teams delivering services to assembly lines and engine testing operations.
• Assist internal/external audits to ensure regulatory and customer requirements compliance (TCCA, FAA, AS9100).
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and other groups on investigations and improvement projects.
• Support CORE RTX program to drive continuous improvement and value creation for operations.
• Analyze data to identify systemic issues and develop KPI-improvement strategies.
